What are store hours?
We're open at both locations from 8 am to 5:30 pm, Monday through Friday. Downtown Surveying is open from 7:30 am to 5 pm, Monday through Friday.
Can I place an order online?
While we plan to expand into e-commerce, we're not there quite yet. But you can send us an email, including your name, phone number, e-mail address and a list of the products and services you're interested in. We'll call or e-mail you with availability and pricing. At that point, you can give us a credit card number and we'll have the order delivered, or you can arrange to pick it up at either of our locations. E-mail your order to sales.
What credit cards do you accept?
MC, Visa, American Express and Discover.
Can I send files electronically?
We accept files via e-mail (addresses below) or ftp (file transfer protocol). If your file is greater than 10MB, we recommend you ftp it or bring it in. Remember, transfer times are dependent upon the file size and the speed of your connection to the Internet. For more details, see our ftp site.

What CAD plotting file formats do you support?
CAD file format support includes Autocad 2000, R14, R13 and R12, DWG and DXF. Plot file format support HPGL, HPGL2 and CalComp907. Raster formats including Tiff, Group IV Tiff and Cals can also be printed. DGN files are supported in HPGL2 format only.
What is the most efficient way to plot CAD drawings?
There are two options.
The quick, efficient method is to send plot files in HPGL2, 650c or 750c
formats. This will embed all pen information (including line weights and screens),
fonts, scale and sheet size.
If you will be plotting several drawings or using this service repeatedly,
the best option is to use Repro Desk Remote. The software is available at
no charge and provides flexibility along with more complete processing information.

Can I schedule a pickup online?
No. But you can go to our Pickup/Delivery page, please print the form, complete the form, and fax it back to us. Fax numbers: Downtown 512-474-7099 North 512-834-9165.
What is your return and refund policy?
Returns must be requested within 30 days of purchase. Proof of purchase is required and items must be in "like new" condition. Stocked items may be charged a restocking fee of up to 15% of the sales price. Special order items will be assessed a restocking charge according to our vendor's restocking charges. The customer is responsible for any freight or delivery charges incurred to return the product. Fees may be waived or reduced if the products are being exchanged.
Items that are not returnable are: services performed, copies produced, maps, books and markers.
In regards to refunds, purchases paid by cash or credit card are immediately refundable in the same method of payment originally used. Payments by check are refunded after a ten day waiting period. Refunds are subject to the return policy listed above.
